Free Speech Hurts is an offensive reply to every bumper sticker and t shirt slogan that states that the bearer is RIGHT beyond my personal choice or opinion. Also inspired by grotesque large images I've seen in store fronts or vehicles aimed to fear teen girls out of sex before marriage or an abortion if the first scare tactic didn't work (my children under ten are also questioning these images of gore). For every street corner preacher that makes it his mission to convince outside the church his word belongs in. I would prefer that your belief system was as private as the color of your underwear, which also needs some work. Most importantly I am offended so this song rage communication is to keep me sane. Although I generally do not believe to fight fire with fire, these flames calm me down. I hope the ones I love are not too burnt. Remember this is my opinion I expect you to have your own.
lyrics
keep your opinion in you car i know its hard
keep your ideas off your shirt take concern
cause free speech hurts
its gonna hurt you if i dont hurt you
so take concern free speech hurts
abort christian children but not by choice
ignore family values they all end in divorce
gay men can not marry must live in clergy seclusion
molesting innocence that could have been aborted
saved from any delusion
doubled up on the floor prayin fix this solution
read my shirt free speech hurts
and this noise aint the real pollution
comes from everything around me
my my what a fucked up amusement
headlines keep us from the issues
that stop all movement
those headlines misread from bibles in a basement
while i made a t-shirt in to rival your basement
it read fuck your church
free speech hurts
