Mostly inspired Arthur C Clarke's novel Childhood's End. A forward
thinking take on the time wasted through the working week. How
the 40 hours plus can rape man of any desire to create. When a mind
and efforts are set free to grow and learn the world could be a better place.
I know I would make the most out of my time.
lyrics
waste your time do your hair
put on a tie but don't let it go to your head
if its just the same to you I'd rather undo those buttons instead
wastin' precious time keep in mind
all those traditions are just in your head
change your ways intrude its rude to expect to see my face
in search of view, my ideals hold true
uncommon to sense these traditions are just in our heads
start the car go ahead
down the road pass the same people around every bend
monotonous rhythm pulsing to where we end
its enough to take my time week by week by 9 to 5 its just a put on
these values are just blind like a sponge they soak up time
from the creation in my head
