We think we are so special. Above all wrongs as we kill for our hunger, our labor, or land. This song is about illness that can move in at any time . A cancer, a virus that does all it can to survive. Making us the victim. Are victims the only good guys? Although I can easily place many a face in the role of the victim as I sing this song. It is hard to see another slant to the story, because like a bee that sticks my side, doesn't it die once the fight is over? This germ trapped in our bodies, buried in the earth, with no love in the distance?
lyrics
-humming blur-
through the trees down the streets
past the windows with the breeze
the humming blur the buzzing bees
the same path each summer
the same route of disease
leaves rustle in wonder
at the warm summer breeze
children laugh out sound so distant
a distance unseen
the humming blur the rustling leaves
warm summer breeze
just a warm summer breeze
-bow to me-
i am the trance that holds you patient
the while that blinds not waiting
no chance to shake free
drugs only bury me deeper
total control of your vision
strings pull minds decision
spread your arms out and fly to me
twist and turn your senses bow to me
